Upon visiting UCSC Justin immediately fell in love with the scenery and knew this was where he would attend college. Justin played as a middle on the NCAA DIII men's team for three years and went to the NCAA playoffs with his team twice.

After graduating with a B.S. in computer engineering and a minor in computer science he is working at a local firm as a data engineer.

Justin's analytical and statistical mind has led him to be an effective coach for the last six years. During this time he coached the 2019 16's Main Beach Boys team to a nationals bid, and the 2022 Santa Cruz boys team to their first time as SCCAL league champs and Northern California Semi-Finalists.

Justin is a founder, president, and coach for Kinnect Volleyball Club. Justin's drive to start Kinnect lies in his love for volleyball, the community and family it has provided for him and others, and his belief that this sport and all it has to offer should be accessible for all.
